Mark Ruffalo Comes In For Blindness
One of the hardest-working nice guys in the business - or perhaps he's the nicest hardworking guy in the business - might have to apply for Boston residency soon.
Mark Ruffalo, co-star of 13 Going On 30, Rumor Has It, Collateral, and Zodiac, among many others, took a day off from shooting Martin Scorcese's Shutter Island, in production locally, to do some dialog replacement on Blindness, which is in post-production on the West Coast. Niv Fichman produced for Rhombus Media.
Blindness is a thriller about a small town where people are suddenly, inexplicably going blind. Julianne Moore co-stars and plays the wife of Ruffalo's doctor character in the film.
Shutter Island is Ruffalo's second visit to the Hub in a year, he was here last fall shooting Real Men Cry, a drama set in South Boston that co-stars Amanda Peet, Ethan Hawke and Donnie Wahlberg.
