Angry Hill's Keith Denehy & DMC Rock Live8On July 2, 2005, long-time Mix One client Keith Denehy, the lead singer of Boston-based Angry Hill, blew the roof off of Live8 in Toronto, performing the Jimi Hendrix classic “Watchtower” with DMC of Run DMC fame. Mix One's Ted Paduck tracked and co-produced Denehy's vocal for the cut of “Watchtower” which will be featured on DMC's new upcoming album Checks, Thugs and Rock 'n Roll.
Ted has collaborated with Denehy and Angry Hill on three of Angry Hill's albums over the years including their 2005 release, Time To Meet The Stranger. Denehy's vocal on this most recent album, recorded and mixed here at Mix One Studios, caught the attention of Aerosmith's management, eventually landing him the DMC gig.
